BLOCK 3 – Grid Stitch

Cast on 37 Sts.

Row 1:  (RS) *K1, P1*, repeat from * to * to last stitch, K1.

Row 2:  P1, *K1, P1*, repeat from * to * to end of row.

Row 3:  Knit.

Row 4:  Knit.

     Repeat rows 1-4 until piece measures 8” long, (approx. 12 times).

BLOCK 2 – Seersucker

Make 4 blocks.

Cast on 37 stitches.

Row 1: (RS) *K1, P1*, repeat from * to * to last stitch, K1.
Row 2: P1, *K1, P1*, repeat from * to * to end of row.
Row 3: *P1, K3*, repeat from * to * to last stitch, K1.
Row 4: *K1, P3*, repeat from * to * to last stitch, K1.
Row 5: *K1, P1*, repeat from * to * across row.
Row 6: P1, *K1, P1*, repeat from * to * to end of row.
Row 7: K2, *P1, K3*, repeat from * to * to last 3 stitches, P1, K2.
Row 8: P2, *K1, P3*, repeat from * to * to last 3 stitches, K1, P1, K1.
     Repeat rows 1-8 until piece measures 8” long. 

 

BLOCK 1 - Broken Rib

Make 4 blocks. 

Cast on 37 Stitches.

Row 1:  (RS) Knit.
Row 2:  *K1, P1*, repeat from * to * to last stitch, K1
     Repeat these 2 rows until piece measure 8” long, (approx. 48 rows in total).
